Independent Contractor Therapist

Welcome in, I'm so glad you are here. Reaching out for support is a strength and it brings me great joy to offer my support to you. I bring compassion, curiosity, and heartfelt acceptance to our work together. Low self esteem, anxiety, self doubt, lack of self trust, trauma, grief, depression, struggles with parenting, relationship issues, identity questioning and exploring, and stress are some common issues clients bring in. Together we aim to identify concerns, develop healthy coping skills, build inner trust, and address and integrate trauma with care. Clients notice reduced stress, more agency, energy, improved self esteem and more fulfilling relationships.

My approach is collaborative, practical and empathic. I enjoy using evidence-based, integrative approaches informed by attachment theory, mindfulness, and person centered therapy. Trauma informed I offer a non judgmental, welcoming space. I incorporate effective practices to support positive mental habits and regulation of the nervous system.

It's a delight to offer you a warm and inclusive space where you feel at ease showing up just as you are.

Education and Experience

I graduated from PSU as a social worker in 2004 and shortly after I spent three years living and working in Guatemala where I was fortunate enough to work and learn alongside Guatemalan social workers and therapists, supporting families. After becoming a mother in 2008 we returned to Oregon where I continued working towards licensure in community mental health settings and schools and in 2019 I became licensed and have been working in private practice since then. In my free time I love to foster kittens, dance with my daughter in the kitchen, and take long walks with my sweet pup.
