Independent Contractor Therapist, Supervisor

I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have faced complex trauma, including ritualistic and religious trauma, as well as those navigating complex PTSD, anxiety disorders, and women’s issues. I also work with people experiencing suicidal thoughts, sleep difficulties, workplace stress, and the unique challenges of bereavement and pet loss. My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I bring personal lived experience in close connection with someone who is transgender, which deepens my understanding and empathy. In addition, I am well educated around immigration issues and strive to provide culturally responsive and compassionate care for diverse communities.

Education and Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) with over 30 years of experience supporting children, families, and older adults through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My professional background includes work in mental health, trauma recovery, bereavement, and family systems, with a compassionate focus on helping clients build resilience and healing. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Social Work from San José State University. Throughout my career, I have provided clinical services across diverse settings, including healthcare, community programs, and private practice. I am licensed as an LCSW in Oregon and as an LICSW in Washington State. My practice is grounded in empathy, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-based care, and I am committed to creating a safe and affirming space for every individual I work with.
