Independent Contractor Therapist, Supervisor
I am married and a mother of two wonderful adult children. My family is extremely important to me. In my free time I can be found at my local community art space puttering on the pottery wheel or learning some new art form. I love reading and will gladly chat about my latest book or yours. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors. My other huge passion is cats and I volunteer for my local shelter and have four cat babies of my own.
I came to be a therapist from the place of seeing people in my immediate life struggling and knowing there’s a need for helpers in the world. My dad and grandmother were teachers and I admired them and the work they did. Although that exact path wasn’t right for me, I do feel I am a teacher in my own way with the people I work with in therapy.
My approach to therapy is to find a path that works for each individual I see. Every person is unique and deserves someone to hear their story and to work with them to provide the best guidance for their life journey. The process can be challenging but I know that it can be rewarding and I am a dedicated to helping clients find the best path forward.
