“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” — Rumi
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health. I partner with individuals and couples navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and disconnection, and those seeking deeper self-understanding and more fulfilling relationships. My goal is to provide effective psychotherapy with a strong foundation in clinical expertise and a deep respect for each person’s unique process.
My Clinical Focus
Healing happens in connection. I strive to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and grounded in mutual respect; where your strengths are recognized, and your goals are at the center of the process. My style is interactive, supportive, and direct. I offer thoughtful feedback and practical tools while honoring your pace and readiness for change.
I support individuals and couples facing a wide spectrum of concerns, including:
Post-traumatic stress and unresolved trauma
Grief and complicated loss
Depression, anxiety, and emotion dysregulation
Relationship conflict, disconnection, and betrayal
Identity development, life transitions, and existential questions
Theoretical Approach
I tailor treatment to your specific needs and draw from a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches to support meaningful and lasting growth. These include:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting to process and release trauma stored in the body and nervous system
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples seeking to rebuild trust, foster secure attachment, and deepen emotional intimacy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Person-Centered, and Psychodynamic frameworks to foster insight, regulation, and long-term change
Education & Experience
My professional background includes work in diverse clinical settings, including university counseling services, a metropolitan police crisis unit, hospice care, and residential treatment for survivors of interpersonal violence. These roles deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the many ways healing can unfold.
